Google is now offering a new feature in their Sitemap service.
To try it, you must have a Google account (AdWords, Gmail or Analytics ). From you AdSense account you can't get it.
- Login to your account
- Go to this page: https://www.google.com/webmasters/sitemaps/add?hl=en
- Enter your Website URL at the bottom
- Verify your Website by creating a uniquely-named, but empty HTML file and uploading it to your server. (A clever solution to know if you are the owner of the site)
- Click the “View stats” link
What kind of information will you get ?
Webmasters can use this service as troubleshooting tool.
